1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website at contractor-seo.com or by engaging Contractor-SEO.com for services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services. These Terms apply to all visitors, prospective clients, and active clients.

2. Services

Contractor-SEO.com provides SEO, local SEO, AI search optimization, Google Business Profile management, technical SEO, and content strategy services for trade contractor businesses in the United States. The specific services delivered are outlined in the client agreement or proposal agreed upon prior to the start of services.

Services are provided on a month-to-month basis unless otherwise agreed in writing. No minimum commitment is required beyond the current active month.

3. No Guarantee of Results

SEO and search visibility are influenced by many factors outside our control, including Google algorithm updates, changes in market competition, website hosting issues, and third-party platform changes. Contractor-SEO.com makes no guarantee of specific rankings, traffic levels, or lead volume. We commit to applying proven, ethical SEO practices and transparent communication - but we cannot guarantee specific results in any given timeframe.

4. Payment Terms

Services are billed monthly. Payment is due at the start of each service month. We accept major credit cards and ACH bank transfers. Late payments may result in paused services. Clients are responsible for all applicable taxes.

There are no setup fees, onboarding fees, or hidden charges beyond the agreed monthly plan rate. Any additional services beyond the plan scope will be quoted separately and require written approval before work begins.

5. Cancellation Policy

Either party may cancel services with 30 days written notice. Notice must be submitted via email to hello@contractor-seo.com. There are no cancellation fees. Work in progress during the final 30 days will be completed and delivered. No refunds are issued for the current billing period after services have begun.

6. Client Responsibilities

Effective SEO requires client cooperation. Clients agree to:

• Provide accurate business information, access to Google Business Profile, and website admin access as needed
• Review and approve content within reasonable timeframes
• Respond to communications within 5 business days to avoid project delays
• Notify us promptly of any changes to their business, service area, or website

7. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, clients own all content and materials created for them under their service agreement (including written content, schema markup, and page copy). Contractor-SEO.com retains ownership of its proprietary processes, methodologies, templates, and internal tools. We reserve the right to reference client results in case studies and marketing materials unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

8. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public business information shared during the engagement. Contractor-SEO.com will not share client data, strategies, or results with third parties (other than necessary service providers) without written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Contractor-SEO.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of leads, or ranking declines caused by third-party algorithm changes. Our total liability to any client for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid in the 30 days prior to the claim.

10. White-Hat SEO Practices

Contractor-SEO.com exclusively uses ethical, Google-compliant SEO practices ("white-hat" SEO). We do not engage in link spam, keyword stuffing, cloaking, or any technique that violates Google's Webmaster Guidelines. Clients must not request tactics that violate these guidelines.

11. Website Use

You agree to use the contractor-seo.com website only for lawful purposes. You may not use our website to collect data through automated means, attempt to access systems without authorization, or engage in any activity that disrupts website operation.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance. Active clients will be notified of material changes by email.
